4.  Ten Best Google Drive Add-Ons You Should Be Using

Google Drive is a great alternative for individuals who don’t have a word processor or any form of an office suite. It allows them to make documents, powerpoint presentations, excel documents and more without the added memory being eaten up or having to load a software on your computer. For those who do have a word processing suite, Google Drive is a great way to have collaborative documents on your computer. For example, it is the office software that I make use of whenever I have a group presentation that needs a couple of extra hands. While it is already a great service, add-ons make it even better. Here are ten Google Drive add-ons that we love via @lifehack

5.  Eleven Most Stunning Architectural Projects in America Right Now

Remember that mild economic downturn we had a few years ago? Yeah, that was not good. Not good at all. But somehow, “too big to fail” failed to stop some big, beautiful architectural masterpieces from coming to fruition. Thrillist rounded up 11 of the most innovative structures to rise from the ground or undergo massive renovation over the past six years, from the biggest construction project in US history, to a not-so-lowly scout hut, to an airport so sweet you’ll pray for delays. here

This blue jacket by Wallace & Barnes, J.Crew’s vintage-inspired division, takes its design cues from the military bombers worn in World War II. Updated with a soft nylon and cotton blend rather than leather, it’s a casual, versatile piece. Try wearing it with workwear-style boots for a utilitarian look via @MrPorter

7. The Best Burger in Every State in America

RVLLR du Jour: Zee Bashua, Publisher, Researcher and Digital Brand Ambassador

RVLLR du Jour: Zee Bashua, Publisher, Researcher and Digital Brand Ambassador

New year, same attitude, sky is the limit. A few years ago I decided to start my own consulting company with the essence to build aesthetically beautiful products that will stand the test of time. I have worked as an art director, marketer and strategist, editor, designer, trainer, salesperson, publisher and curator, for local brands and galleries, both independently, and through my boutique creative agency SOR or Society of Revellers. Early in my career, I have worked with 116 Pairs of Shoes, the digital delivery section of Basketball Buzz, the biggest Canadian media related to Canadian Basketball content in the country. I also collaborated with Jewne Johnson with the launch of Art Child, a non profit organization promoting children empowerment through culture and the Arts. Currently, I am involved with Maison King de la Cote, a luxury brand agency launching in the near future in Africa while overseeing many projects in the Canadian ground.

The artistic vision behind the brand, stands behind the fact that the company, always wants to stay true to its roots: a Reveller always stay real, approachable, in touch with everybody. The Society of Revellers name and logo is a meaningful and poetic reminiscence of my native Cote dIvoire. Un Sapeur is easily recognizable in West Africa and it has been my mission to make it possible in North America.

Our clients have mostly been in the small and medium sized businesses here in Canada. We have worked for Empire Limousine Services, Guys of All Trades Maintenance, Back Up Designated Drivers, and HeatBusters (Canada). I have worn many hats in my career and have the unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges. My main role has been to maintain client liaison, developing media strategies for the transportation industry. Another aspect of my role consist of serving as media escort, photo escort , door manager, as well as managing the Junior staff.

Coordinating multiple clients with a small team can be a daunting task. However, my inner motivation to always excel , helped me conducting excellent media analysis and client reporting. As a publisher, I help drafting press releases, pitch letters and client interviews as well as organizing media trips and client press appointments. Understanding means fewer missteps, and missteps cost a fortune.

SOR Web Agency uses a powerful blend of traditional publicity, digital media outreach, strategic partnership and influencer mind. We don’t care who gets the credit. We just want to win, as actual experience has taught me that lots of people have big ideas. Execution is what matters, and at SOR, we do execution

CAM’RON First of the Month Movie

CAM’RON First of the Month Movie

Cam’ron recently wanted to share the first part of the movie that comes with his “1st Of The Month” EP series.

Recently, Cam’ron released the first instalment of his 1st Of The Month EP series, and along with it comes a 22 minute long “movie.” It’s also the first part in a series, which will apparently continue with the release of each ensuing EP.

When you first starts to watch, the movie seems to be a sort of semi fictitious depiction of Cam’s actual life, albeit with more crime, drama and thrills than usual. In the movie, JuJu, his fiancee, who is heavily featured, helps showcase Cam’ron talent, as well as samplers of his music. Let’s just say that the movie could be a little confusing at certain times, but your fave artist Killa Cam has definitely, more than enough on-camera charisma to make this well worth your time.

Cam’ron’s 1st of the Month movie Episode 1 / Ep 1 Full Movie, starring, Cam’Ron, JuJu, Cousin Bang, Sen City & More.

View this episode here

Here’s the second installment of Killa’s 1st of the Month short film series, co-starring JuJu, Couzin Bang and Suga Duga.  Stream and purchase Vol. 2 of the EP series here.

Do You Know These Contradictory Proverbs ?

Do You Know These Contradictory Proverbs ?

Dear Revellers, the following collection of contradictory proverbs are very interesting for lovers of language, linguistics, culture and tradition. We love when you leave a comment. Anonymous comments are not allowed. If you want to say something leave a comment. Every Action has an equal and an opposite reaction.  Similarly, every proverb has an equal and an opposite proverb! There always  exists two sides of the same coin.

U be the judge..

  •  All good things come to those who wait. BUT  Time and tide wait for no man.

  •  The pen is mightier than the sword. BUT  Actions speak louder than words.

  • Wise men think alike.  BUT  Fools seldom differ.

  • The best things in life are free things. BUT There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

  • Slow and steady wins the race.   BUT  Time waits for no man. Look before you leap.  BUT  Strike while the iron is hot.

  • Do it well, or not at all.  BUT  Half a loaf is better than none.

  • Birds of a feather flock together. BUT  Opposites attract.

  • Don’t cross your bridges before you come to them. BUT Forewarned is forearmed.

  • Doubt is the beginning of wisdom. BUT Faith will move mountains.

  • Great starts make great finishes. BUT It ain’t over ’till it’s over.

  • Practice makes perfect. BUT All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

  • Silence is golden. BUT The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

  • You’re never too old to learn. BUT You can’t teach an old dog new tricks

  • What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. BUT One man’s food is another man’s poison.

  • Absence makes the heart grow fonder. BUT Out of sight, out of mind.

  • Too many cooks spoil the broth. BUT Many hands make light work.

  • Hold fast to the words of your ancestors.  BUT  Wise men make proverbs and fools repeat them.

As described by the folks over at Pigeons and Planes, ” The Los Angeles-based singer/rapper Doja Cat has just released a trippy new video for her aptly-named track, “So High.” A hazy blend of nocturnal synths and glittering static, the song is a gateway drug for anyone needing an introduction to the up-and-coming artist.

Kranium “Nobody Has To Know” is a song from Jamaica that I just came across it recently . Big Tune!

The Most Creative Revellers in the Fashion Industry Today

The Most Creative Revellers in the Fashion Industry Today

Good morning revellers! The weekend is around the corner and we wanted to share some goodies with you to get the mood right. Here at Society of Revellers,we realized that wanted to first, identify an actual need, instead of waiting to get financed. We wanted to just plug in with what we had and address that need. The goal was to build a business and the money will follow. Many younger people these days make the assumption that money is the main goal of doing business. Money should never be the goal when you are in business. It should be about how you are going to grow the business and scale within your means. You will find that money will follow. If your aim is to be a billionaire, you are not going to get there. If your aim is to impact thousands of people with a product and you can actually do that, you will get there. Always look to scale and you will find that success will follow you. Africa is the next place to reach its full potential and Society of Revellers want to be part of that. “It is so rare in a lifetime… to be in a continent that is about to explode, a continent that is going to grow so fast. What a [continent] we are sitting in right now. Why should we sit back and wait for handouts when we can actually do something and grow with it”.

For those in the fashion industry, this is an extensive, not yet definitive of people that we found to be very influential in the fashion world today. Their aspiration and achievements have motivated us to work towards building a better and stronger Africa and will need  help from all young aspiring businesspeople and entrepreneurs.
