Revellers Ready for Ottawa Fashion Week F/W 2014
OTTAWA, JANUARY 24TH, 2014 – MIRARI STUDIO PROUDLY PRESENTS “DESIGINING WINTER HAUTE COUTURE”, AN INITIATIVE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CANADIAN MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND OTTAWA FASHION WEEK, ON FEBRUARY 9TH, 2014.
Mirari Studio and Ottawa Fashion Week present Designing Winter Haute Couture merging art, fashion and design. The evening will feature, a collection by a top Canadian designer DUY and an art exhibits by Patrick Biggs and Arline Malakiran, all drawing upon elements of winter as their muse. In addition, the studio will present architectural designs that demonstrate the integration of greenery and architecture in ways that ensure the survival of the greenery while maintaining aesthetic in Canadian Winter climate. The evening activities will also be accompanied by musical performances by Silvie Cheng and May-Jun and Becky.
This not-to-miss event celebrates the Canadian Museum of History’s exhibit on Snow which presents the cultural history of snow and reveals how snow has shaped the Canadian identity.
Free admission enables everyone to experience snow as part of the Canadian identity combined with the world of fashion, art and design.
