New year, same attitude, sky is the limit. A few years ago I decided to start my own consulting company with the essence to build aesthetically beautiful products that will stand the test of time. I have worked as an art director, marketer and strategist, editor, designer, trainer, salesperson, publisher and curator, for local brands and galleries, both independently, and through my boutique creative agency SOR or Society of Revellers. Early in my career, I have worked with 116 Pairs of Shoes, the digital delivery section of Basketball Buzz, the biggest Canadian media related to Canadian Basketball content in the country. I also collaborated with Jewne Johnson with the launch of Art Child, a non profit organization promoting children empowerment through culture and the Arts. Currently, I am involved with Maison King de la Cote, a luxury brand agency launching in the near future in Africa while overseeing many projects in the Canadian ground.
The artistic vision behind the brand, stands behind the fact that the company, always wants to stay true to its roots: a Reveller always stay real, approachable, in touch with everybody. The Society of Revellers name and logo is a meaningful and poetic reminiscence of my native Cote dIvoire. Un Sapeur is easily recognizable in West Africa and it has been my mission to make it possible in North America.
Our clients have mostly been in the small and medium sized businesses here in Canada. We have worked for Empire Limousine Services, Guys of All Trades Maintenance, Back Up Designated Drivers, and HeatBusters (Canada). I have worn many hats in my career and have the unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges. My main role has been to maintain client liaison, developing media strategies for the transportation industry. Another aspect of my role consist of serving as media escort, photo escort , door manager, as well as managing the Junior staff.
Coordinating multiple clients with a small team can be a daunting task. However, my inner motivation to always excel , helped me conducting excellent media analysis and client reporting. As a publisher, I help drafting press releases, pitch letters and client interviews as well as organizing media trips and client press appointments. Understanding means fewer missteps, and missteps cost a fortune.
